Studio Director, Spring House

Marlyn Abramson

Marlyn Abramson began dancing at age four and went on to perform with the Philadelphia Civic Ballet Company at fifteen. After teaching dance in high school, she opened the Marlyn Abramson School of Dance in 1973 with 12 students, in a studio her husband built in their home. Over 53 years, that studio grew into several primary locations and several satellite programs, with students performing at Walt Disney World, for the Philadelphia 76ers, and at senior centers throughout the community.

Marlyn has taught multiple generations of the same families, including her own daughters and granddaughters. Her philosophy has never changed: quality instruction, delivered with care, because the children always come first.
